Blues begins a new phase of renovation of the Scottrade center
Further upgrades are underway at Scottrade Center, as the Blues de Saint-Louis have announced plans for the next phase of an ongoing renovation.
The Blues have worked on improving the Scottrade Center, starting with a renovation phase that took place ahead of the 2017-18 season. This construction phase resulted in several changes to the arena, including a new video board, LED lighting, a new sound system, theater boxes, updated washrooms and upgrades to the changing rooms.
Once the team’s current season is over, the Blues will begin the next round of renovating the Scottrade Center. During this phase, the team will replace every seat on the arena mezzanine, add new gathering spaces and clubs, and make changes to the food and drink offerings. More from KMOV:
“It will be important,” said Blues President and CEO Chris Zimmerman. “The hall will be redone. We will continue to bring new food options to St. Louis. This is the summer when you’re really going to say ‘it’s a new building now’.
Some of the new dining options include local favorites such as SugarFire BBQ, Hi-Pointe Drive-In, Byrd & Barrel, and Lion’s Choice.
Club Seat and Glass Seat holders will have access to exclusive new clubs: The Rinkside Club and Pub ’67.
These improvements should be in place in time for the 2018-19 NHL season.
