Interactive Brokers Appoints Cecelia Zhong Executive Director of China Business Development

The Interactive Brokers Group of Greenwich has hired Cecelia Zhong for the newly created position of Executive Director focused on business development in China.

Zhong was previously CEO of Guojin Resources Ltd., a Hong Kong subsidiary of Guojin Metal Technology.

Earlier in her career, she led and coordinated sales and marketing activities for the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the London Metal Exchange and was responsible for setting up the NYSE Euronext business center in Hong Kong.

“With extensive experience in the financial services industry in Mainland China and Hong Kong, Cecelia will certainly help strengthen our local product offerings and strengthen relationships with key market players in the region,” said David Friedland, Managing Director of Asia-Pacific Operations at Interactive Brokers. .
